She realizes that to move forward one must look backwards.Boundless, a novel which touches on the transition of colonial rule from the Germans to the Anglo-French, dwells on the idea of self-hood, the quest for identity, belonging and freedom, and the human being’s limitless ability to adapt, survive and forgive in a world torn apart by racism, war and colonialism.
