Spears Books, an imprint of Spears Media Press LLC is an independent publisher of African/Africana books and member of the African Books Collective (ABC). Founded in 2014, Spears Books has dozens of titles in print and electronic formats and has distinguished itself as an innovative and dynamic publisher that takes pride in the rigour of its editorial process, the aesthetics of its designs and the global reach and affordability of its titles.
Spears Books is home to many creative and passionate writers, editors, designers and marketers who all wish to give back to their communities and the world at large. Collectively, our mission is to foster a universal passion for reading by partnering with authors to help create great stories and share ideas that inform, entertain, and inspire, and to link them with readers in all corners of the globe.
